Gerrit Jan presents on Innovation in Telecoms

How to harvest opportunities and overcome challenges?

Each day of ROCCO Genesis is focused on original presentation concepts to inspire creativity and innovation. On the second day, May 20th, speakers will be presenting on strategic review including research insights.

We are happy to announce that Gerrit Jan Konijnenberg from RoamsysNext is going to be sharing his 20 years of experience in innovation in a very interesting presentation where he will walk the delegates through:

• From Video IVR for UMTS in 2000 via Operator mobile content portals in 2005
• Global Hubbing in 2010 to eSim for alternative roaming in 2015 
• Blockchain in 2020.

Gerrit will also respond to questions like “When is the timing right?”, “How to obtain budgets?” or  “Are you reaching a critical mass?” 

About Gerrit Jan Konijnenberg

Gerrit Jan Is Chairman of RoamsysNext, Special Advisor Mobile Ecosystem Forum and Member of the advisory Board of the Insead China Initiative. He held various international executive positions at Vodafone VRS (Luxembourg), Cellusys IoT (Ireland), Comfone (Switzerland) and Comsys (Netherlands). Born in The Netherlands in 1963, Gerrit-Jan is a book author and keen sportsman who still represented his country in many Nordic Ski Jumping Master championships. He is married with five children and is fluent in five languages.
