Shockwave Panel Sessions
The Shockwave Panel Sessions are a series of talks produced by subject matter experts. They discuss the advantages and opportunities in the industry.
The Innovators
The Innovators aims to provide visibility to the most innovative solutions from Vendors and MNOs in our industry. The process to discover The Innovators begins in Feb 2024 with a Showcase and concludes with The Lions Den and Visionaries Gala.
Genesis Hackathon
Genesis hosts the final Shortlisted Solutions for the Roaming and Messaging Hackathons. Teams from MNOs, Vendors, or mixed groups, create solutions for two major industry challenges; the top 3 for each challenge will be showcased.
LIONS DEN
The MNOs and Vendors taking part in The Innovators and also in the Genesis Hackathons will present to a panel of Lions who will give feedback to them live in-front of the Genesis audience.
Visionaries Gala
The Visionaries Gala will take place on May 21st. ROCCO will present over 35 awards to The Innovators, The Genesis Hackathons winners, Tier 1 Vendors from our Vendor Benchmarking Reports and the Top 25 from ROCCO IOO 2024.

A1 Telekom Austria offices are just a 4-minute walk from Vorgartenstraße metro station and an 11-minute walk from Praterstern train station.
Genesis Venue (A1 Telekom Austria offices) is located about a 20-minute drive from Vienna International Airport (VIE).
Vienna International Airport is well-connected to the city by train, metro or bus. “REX 7” and “S 7” trains run frequently between the airport and Vienna’s city center with a typical journey of about 25 minutes.
City Airport Train (CAT) operates daily between 05:37AM and 23:38PM offering a quick 16-minute ride to the city center.

Vienna is the capital city of Austria and it is well-connected to other cities and neighbour countries by train and bus.
You can get around Vienna by taxi, Uber, bus, metro or tram.
You can buy a Travel Card that would allow you to use all public transport in the city. Travel Cards are available on metro stations and on the Wiener Lienen app.
