Asha Mary Thomas brings over two decades of extensive international roaming expertise to her role as Director at e&(Etisalat Group), a renowned telecommunications leader.

Asha Mary Thomas has dedicated two decades to perfecting her craft in the roaming industry, implementing successful strategies to expand the wholesale roaming business. Her efforts have resulted in high-value deals with fair usage volumes, making roaming available to a wider customer base.

Asha Mary’s proficiencies lie in negotiating high-value preferred roaming agreements with global partners, strategizing and executing comprehensive roaming deals, and consistently driving revenue growth while optimizing costs.

Armed with an MBA in Marketing and bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, she has further honed her skills through executive education programs, handpicked for high-potential candidates in leadership by e&, e& Gold program (Flagship 18 month Leadership Program for select leaders at e& in collaboration with Cornell University, MIT, Wharton and Columbia Business School), including specialized training in digital strategies from Columbia Business School and the very first “Female leadership programme” by Nokia, e&, and UN Women.

At the helm of a dedicated team of roaming professionals, she cultivates a culture of collaboration and excellence. Her overarching mission is to elevate customer satisfaction and loyalty while maximizing the performance of e&(Etisalat Group)’s roaming business.

She is counted as a well respected and reliable leader who ensures success not only for herself, but also for the team. A person with a multicultural outlook which she attributes to being raised in India which has very diverse cultures and working with e&, in the very diverse Carrier & Wholesale and opco colleagues from many nationalities and also different nationalities in the roaming world and living in the UAE ,in which many nationalities and cultures thrive together.
